We are currently seeking to fill a MicroStrategy Architect position for our client in Chicago, IL. Location: Chicago, IL or Charlotte, NC
Type: 1 year contract opportunity

Responsibilities:
- Building schema objects to support business process change or enhancements through projects
- Setting child parents relationships
- Building or changing hierarchy structure
- Building new projects to support new reporting schemas
- Working with Data Administration team to architect a solution fitting database standards and tool compliance
- Setting up user roles and preferences
- Report development and modification
- Metadata support
- Integration with teams to support efforts at the database level and the reporting level
- Support on technical issues
- Support on upgrades
- Monitoring of enterprise manager and system

Qualifications:
- 3+ years experience with MicroStrategy
- Understanding of star/snowflake schemas
- Experience working in a Data Mart environment
- Knowledge of SQL, DB2, UNIX would be preferred
