Our CHICAGO - AREA GLOBAL Client, currently seeks an experienced PROJECT MANAGER for a LONG-TERM project engagement 14 months +.


PRIMARY Responsibilities/Duties/PROJECT:

This candidate will be responsible for managing multiple projects within the Identity Management Program at the Client, focused on the implementation of Sun Microsystems Identity Manager software product. Major responsibilities include requirements gathering, transforming conceptual ideas to innovative robust solutions, developing scope for phased deployment through defined statements of work with the implementation partner, implementation, testing, coordinating the deployment of the projects with support groups, identifying the application issues and providing solutions. This person will be working with a technical team from various areas of the company, and will be responsible for coordinating the deliverables to ensure smooth integration. They will also be required to interact with the business representatives, to understand and develop in depth knowledge of business processes and be able to convert the business needs to software specifications.

REQUIRED WORK EXPERIENCE:

The position requires strong project management skills along with an understanding of Identity Management implementations, specifically provisioning tools with the integration of role based access control. Candidates should have minimum 5-7 years of work experience in several of the following mentioned areas, including at least 3 years of project leadership experience. Strong knowledge working on N-Tier architecture, J2EE, BEA Weblogic, Java, Oracle, web-based GUI development including JSP, HTML, XML, Java scripting features. Should have acquired Unix systems knowledge and be able to coordinate activities with Support groups for deployment of the projects to development, staging and production environments. Should be adaptable to technological changes. Candidate is expected to work comfortably with business problems and be able to handle change requests working closely with users. Apart from technical skills, should be a Team player, have the ability to manage multiple vendor relationships, have strong communication skills and is expected to work comfortably with business problems and process automation.

REQUIRED EDUCATION:


BS in Computer Science. MS preferred. Other science or engineering degrees can be considered depending on work experience. PMP Certification preferred.

Our client is looking for talented Oracle Applications administrator to design, implement and maintain its Oracle 11i E-Business Suite database system. POSITION SUMMARY



The Information Technology ( IT ) Support Center Senior Analyst supports the business practices of the firm by delivering reliable, high quality firm-wide application and technology support. This support includes resolution to both technical and functional issues and applies a broad working knowledge of IT products and services to assignments that are more complex and supports the Videoconference Coordinator and local IT professionals by providing backup or assistance. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

-Provide prompt and professional IT support services to remote customers by troubleshooting, analyzing, and diagnosing enterprise application functional and technical incidents and engaging appropriate technical resources to resolve them.

-Manage incoming calls or requests from users via phone, email, voicemail, and web interface and prioritize incidents following established incident management policies and procedures.

-Manage and maintain personal queue using the On-line Tracking Information System ( OTIS ). Diagnose and escalate ( only when all department resources are exhausted ) customer incidents and manage incident through entire Incident Lifecycle.

-Assist and backup the Video Conference Coordinator with the execution of all aspects of an event schedule and adhere to established videoconference polices and procedures.

-Monitor videoconference event to address change requests in a timely and professional manner and provide hands-on assistance to customers for the duration of the event.

-Provide technical support on the videoconference meeting systems and coordinate support needs with other divisions within the U.S. IT department.

-Assist and backup local IT professionals on managing their queues or on complex problems and take corrective action. May request guidance from Level II Support ( i.e., Engineering, Enterprise Messaging, DBAs, Developers, etc. ) to restore services and / or resolve incidents.

Individuals receive the training and mentoring to excel as a Work Practice Designer (User Researcher) participate in the full design process - from ethnographic field interviews to interaction design. Work practice designers will participate fully in all phases of the Contextual Design process, including field interviews with end users, data interpretation and modeling, visioning new concepts, storyboarding, paper prototyping and deliverable creation. They must also be systemic thinkers: able to see the design implications implied by the existing work practice and envision new solutions that will improve the user's experience while meeting the business needs of the clients.



Those who have a background in the social sciences, technical writing, human-computer interaction, information systems, user research or other related fields are ideal candidates for our Work Practice Designer. This position is ideal for someone with a Bachelor's degree and 3 years of relevant post-graduation experience - or recent grads with a Masters or PhD with 1-2 years of experience - and who are looking to expand their horizons by performing in a fast-paced, consulting environment.

POSITION SUMMARY



The Information Technology ( IT ) Support Center Senior Analyst supports the business practices of the firm by delivering reliable, high quality firm-wide application and technology support. This support includes resolution to both technical and functional issues and applies a broad working knowledge of IT products and services to assignments that are more complex and supports the Videoconference Coordinator and local IT professionals by providing backup or assistance. This position is based in Oakbrook Terrace, IL 60181.



ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

-Provide prompt and professional IT support services to remote customers by troubleshooting, analyzing, and diagnosing enterprise application functional and technical incidents and engaging appropriate technical resources to resolve them.

-Manage incoming calls or requests from users via phone, email, voicemail, and web interface and prioritize incidents following established incident management policies and procedures.

-Manage and maintain personal queue using the On-line Tracking Information System ( OTIS ). Diagnose and escalate ( only when all department resources are exhausted ) customer incidents and manage incident through entire Incident Lifecycle.

-Assist and backup the Video Conference Coordinator with the execution of all aspects of an event schedule and adhere to established videoconference polices and procedures.

-Monitor videoconference event to address change requests in a timely and professional manner and provide hands-on assistance to customers for the duration of the event.

-Provide technical support on the videoconference meeting systems and coordinate support needs with other divisions within the U.S. IT department.

-Assist and backup local IT professionals on managing their queues or on complex problems and take corrective action. May request guidance from Level II Support ( i.e., Engineering, Enterprise Messaging, DBAs, Developers, etc. ) to restore services and / or resolve incidents.

-Act as liaison between local IT professionals and Level II Support ( i.e., Engineering, Enterprise Messaging, DBAs, Developers, etc. ) on problem management.

-Seek development opportunities to grow and develop in position and career with Grant Thornton.

-Identify trends to proactively eliminate known errors by providing documentation to the known error database.

-Reviews all tickets to ensure: prioritization, classification and product details are appropriately categorized and documented.

-Analyze known errors and work with the appropriate departments to determine the root cause.

-Develop known error objects and submit for publishing to the Knowledge Management Review Team.

-Mentor the IT Support Center Analysts.

-Additional duties may include developing technical documentation and writing FAQs.

-Attend professional development and training sessions on a regular basis to grow and develop in position and career.

PRIMARY Responsibilities/Duties/PROJECT:

This candidate will be responsible for managing multiple projects within the Identity Management Program at the Client, focused on the implementation of Sun Microsystems Identity Manager software product. Major responsibilities include requirements gathering, transforming conceptual ideas to innovative robust solutions, developing scope for phased deployment through defined statements of work with the implementation partner, implementation, testing, coordinating the deployment of the projects with support groups, identifying the application issues and providing solutions. This person will be working with a technical team from various areas of the company, and will be responsible for coordinating the deliverables to ensure smooth integration. REQUIRED WORK EXPERIENCE:
