Job Title:
Senior Associate Marketing Strategy and Analysis – Consumer and Industry Research

Job Summary:
The successful candidate will conduct internal and external research projects and interact with clients, leading to innovative and high quality experiences for our clients’ customers and stakeholders. This role will participate in all phases of research for the purposes of formulating strategy, discovering opportunities, defining requirements, and assessing designs. In addition, the role provides opportunities to work and partner directly with clients in an externally-facing delivery role.


Responsibilities:
Review and synthesize a large quantity of secondary materials into key findings appropriate for the client and account
Develop C-level (summary) and detailed Powerpoint presentations as well as storyboards reflecting research findings
Select appropriate quantitative methods for business objectives and project parameters
Communicate web and business analytics strategies
Create, structure, analyze and develop recommendations based on Excel financial data and models
Coordinate interactions with research vendors, moderators, and other key participants in the research process
Leverage available secondary research sources (e.g., Forrester, Jupiter, OneSource, eMarketer, Google, etc.) to determine market size, market trends, performance benchmarks, best practices, etc.
Organize research findings into matrixes or maps that highlight business opportunities

Experience Guidelines:
3-5 years of online industry experience
Detail orientated with the ability to prioritize and accomplish tasks in a timely fashion
Excellent communication skills
Knowledge of the latest qualitative research and analysis techniques
Marketing services industry experience, including research to inform interactive and multichannel marketing strategy
Strong analytical and process-oriented problem-solving skills
Ability to function successfully in a fast-paced, collaborative, highly-matrixed organization
Microsoft excel expertise with complex functions such as sorting and managing lists; organizing and analyzing data; creating reports, Pivot tables, functions, linking workbooks, writing macros, developing templates

Education:
Bachelor’s degree required, MBA or other advanced degree a plus
