Operational Responsibilities:
1. Assume over responsibility of the Actuate Competency Center (Actuate CC)
2. Oversee the Offshore vendors plan and monitor deliverables e.g. Chair the weekly status meetings
3. Publish overall status report
4. Point of contact in for any group wishing to use Actuate CC services
5. Resolve any issues with between the Offshore vendor and the Application teams
6. Help new resource on boarding process
7. Help the Offshore vendor with all infrastructure issues
8. Review estimates given by the Offshore vendor for new reports
9. Review weekly status report, timesheet and metrics published by the Offshore vendor.
10. Plan all the release cycle and communicate the same to the Release Management Teams

Financial Responsibilities:
1. First point of contact for any changes to the Statement Of Work e.g. Change Request
2. Invoice Review
3. Track return on off-shoring against the overall targets
4. Track the Offshore deliverables (number of reports) against the Statement of Work

Strategic Responsibilities:
1. Introduce best practices in the Actuate CC
2. Proactively grow the Actuate CC within the Organization

Miscellaneous Responsibilities:
1. Organize, manage, control and direct all activities for the program
2. Conduct periodical status meetings with the individual application / project teams
3. Maintain excellent working relationship and healthy partnership with individual application owners partners and other external vendors and stakeholders
4. Make presentation on the Program Status to senior management
5. Proactively identify, escalate and help in resolving issues
6. Adopt effective strategies for risk mitigation
7. Implement streamlined and consistent processes across the CC

Requirements:
- Minimum 10 years of experience of leading and delivering medium to large projects
- MUST HAVE OFFSHORE PROJECT OR PROGRAM DELIVERY EXPERIENCE
- Proven skills in managing large teams in a distributed environment and teams with diverse skills
- Experience of working with other vendors and consulting firms
- Thorough understanding and first-hand knowledge of all phases of software development
- Technical expertise blended with evangelism, empathy, conflict negotiation skills, and a passion for driving projects through to completion
- Expertise in different software development methodologies
- First-hand experience with project management tools such as Microsoft Project
- Familiarity with managing complex project schedules, solving complex problems, and nurturing cross-group collaboration

Nice-to-have skills:
- Experience as a developer or an architect for applications using Actuate as a reporting tool
- Experience of working in Brokerage industry as a functional or a technical expert
