    Business Analyst in Chicago, IL

    Business Analyst to work on new development client/server application that is related to check processing and communicates via the web.
    The specific piece of the project that this BA will be involved in is the integration of one of the existing lockboxes into the new system. This person will be responsible for bridging the gap between the two systems. They will be using XML to communicate with the legacy lockbox. This BA will be expected to be the Subject Matter Expert (SME) on this piece of the project so they have to be someone that is sharp enough to dig into and understand the existing systems. Must be able to create FUNCTIONAL SPECS and have experience with the full SDLC of an application project. Must have enough experience with the testing side to determine if the test execution/test plan, etc. is valid. Act as liaison and communicate with various groups. This BA will be involved in reading and revising documents, documenting meeting outcomes, and using the meeting info to create the functional specs.

    Performs and coordinates the analysis and design of business systems. Develops and maintains a thorough understanding of the needs of the assigned customer group from the business and technical perspective. Works closely with clients and with other system groups to capture business requirements and see them through implementation. Develops and executes systems testing. Acts as a liaison between the business user groups and the technical systems groups.
