Responsibilities include collaboration with business and systems analysts, software developers, and vendors technical support staff with enhancing, customizing, maintaining, testing and implementing system modifications. This role assists with the coordination of work (e.g. very specifically and technically tells these teams what to do on behalf of the application) with a broad data center support team including systems, server, network, database, Web, desktop support, help desk, security, and firewall administrators to meet the systems support needs, project demands, timelines, and changes.

Proven management and leadership skills to include managing multiple projects, mentoring team members and staff as well as outstanding administrative management skills with the ability to motivate staff.

POSITION SUMMARY

You will build custom electronic trading applications for a leader in the industry, work with a team of top technology professionals, interact with senior partners and traders, and maintain the systems that you design, build, test and deploy.

RESPONSIBILITIES

. Perform full life-cycle development of trading applications using C++, C#, Python, SQL, and other languages

. Develop trading application graphical user interfaces

. Work with traders to determine application requirements

. Integrate custom systems with trading exchanges and market data vendors

. Support and maintain software

Experience: Experience developing software solutions in capital markets highly preferred

. More than 2 years of programming experience

. Bachelor's degree in computer science or engineering

. History of academic excellence, with a minimum 3.0 GPA

. Solid understanding of object-oriented design and development

. Strong C# skills and some experience with C++ and SQL

. Excellent problem solving skills
