Operations / Production Support Engineer/Analyst will be part of a team that performs EUC Technology and Business Support especially for Financial Reporting and Business Critical functions. This support position will be part of an Operational Team that will focus on Production and Operational Support as well the implementation and improvement of IT SOX controls. This engineer will work with Development, Business, Quality Assurance and other support teams to co-ordinate and facilitate the scheduling, incident triage and timely resolution of production execution issues.

Support changes and enhancements to operation controls as well as assist in preparations and execution of monthly Financial Reporting close support activity.
The Operations Engineer will work with BA& business, development team, Quality Assurance reps, Testing team and other support groups as well as managers to co-ordinate and facilitate the scheduling, incident triage and timely resolution of production issues.
Support and execute secure transfer protical (sFTP and SCP) in Acceptance life Cycle and facilitate the subsequent production execution
Provide division wide Operation Execution services by implementing standardized execution process, schemas, and tools across the projects in BA& that are efficient and repeatable
Assist in the monthly executions by creating all necessary controls e.g. (Remedy and ClearCase tickets, Runbook, etc.)
Support the Technical Risk Coordination by responding to strategic technology initiatives to support remediation of identified IT deficiencies as well as operation risk mitigation efforts. across the divisions EUC s and applications.
Support SOX compliance evidence as part of responding to both internal and external technology audit compliance requests.
Perform analysis of existing business processes and assist in the documentation and the build out for new and changing interface controls and calls (automation and process improvements).
Support the technical implementation of IT control policies and procedure that are relevant to the Credit Cluster operations and infrastructure.

Section 3: Qualifications
List 5 to 7 specific, job related requirements and/or preferences, such as years/type of experience, degrees, certifications, knowledge, skills, and abilities (including technical, professional and management skills).
Moderate experience (Three or more years) of UNIX (Sun Solaris/AIX/Linux) environment.
Strong written and oral communication skills are essential. Must be able to support multiple projects.
General Knowledge of IT Control measures to include areas like: Access Management (role based), Logging and Monitoring and Production Execution tracking
It is desired that this individual have prior production support or application development knowledge.
Demonstrate organizational, analytical and research skills as well as the ability to conceptualize more complex issues.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related experience
General knowledge of one or more scripting languages (Perl, XML, Shell Scripting) experience; Autosys a plus
Familiarity with incident tracking Tools (Remedy, ClearQuest, etc)
A self starter with a strong ability to work effectively in a team or a matrixed environment.
Ability to adapt to changing environment and requirements as well as the ability to support multiple projects. Familiarity with /OX IT controls.
Flexibility to work additional hours on an as needed basis to meet deadlines to support extended hours during monthly close periods
Prior experience a plus
