Our Chicago,Illinois loop baed client currently seeks a Business Analyst

Job Responsibilities:

Participate with the project management function by coordinating, planning and successfully delivering Finance initiated projects. Primary responsibility will be to support a data warehouse project to provide Finance / Risk regulatory and management reporting. The candidate must have a good working knowledge of data warehouse systems and reporting tools to support project design and delivery. The person must be able to gather and define business requirements to properly coordinate / manage the project design and development efforts. The person should be able to convey complex information (e.g. explaining theory, proposal or strategy) in order to develop a solution or an approach, to persuade to appoint of view, to take a certain action.

Job Requirements:

BS or B.B.A. in MIS, Computer Science or Finance related field with 10 or more year's related work experience, preferably with a major financial services company. The candidate must be managed a complete project life cycle from requirements through production release. Very strong consideration would be given to candidates with data warehousing or large technology based project experience. Demonstrated experience managing several large projects would be strongly considered. The candidate should have excellent written and verbal communication skills at all levels, attention to detail and well developed analytical capabilities. The successful candidate will be team oriented and focused on contributing to the objectives of the group as a whole. The applicant should demonstrate a proficiency in MicroSoft products, Oracle, SQL, Business Objects or other data gathering / reporting software solutions.
