Our client is a pharmaceutical advertising agency seeking an Interactive Art Director to be responsible for conceptual development and execution of creative deliverables. The role includes creating and communicating concepts and developing interactive design solutions. Reporting to the Creative Director, the Interactive Art Director will work with and lead a collaborative team to design stellar interactive pharmaceutical ad campaigns. Experience: The ideal Interactive Art Director will have a strong design portfolio with 4+ years education, 3+ years conceptual design and interactive work experience and well-developed communication skills. Experience leading a team of designers, production specialists and writers to creative excellence coupled with the ability to think creatively and justify concepts to clients and team members to work as a team on multiple interactive projects simultaneously is necessary to succeed in this role. Strategic brainstorming, campaign development, creative brief development and creative execution will also come into play with a comprehensive understanding of interactivity and the Web. A solid working knowledge of the latest versions of PC and Mac OS, Photoshop and Illustrator plus an understanding of the strengths and limitations of Flash (Action Scripting a plus), Dreamweaver, Director, HTML and ImageReady will round out the background of someone passionate for design and creative problem solving in the pharmaceutical space.
