POSITION SUMMARY

The Enterprise Content Management ( ECM ) Analyst analyzes, maintains, supports, and provides training on firm ECM technologies. This position is based in Oakbrook Terrace, IL 60181.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
-Maintain production and development ECM environments for ECM application users.
-Train on the use of ECM technologies and tools which support enterprise content management needs.
-Perform system administration of ECM systems and related technologies ( ECM software, application servers, indexers, content repositories, web servers, etc. ).
-Provide technical support on assigned ECM technologies and tools, and coordinate support needs with other divisions within Information Technology ( IT ).
-Provide excellent customer service to ECM application users.
-Develop effective ECM technologies and tools that support system users.
-Report exception issues, problems or customer needs as they occur to IT management.
-Respond proactively to identified training, technical support, and customer service needs in line with IT management and business guidelines.
-Coordinate identified user technical needs with others in the Applications Development and Reporting division and throughout the ECM department.
-Document ECM issues and solutions that resolve re-occurring user requests.
-Develop materials to educate users on the use of ECM technologies.
-Participate in testing and quality assurance work for products prior to release into the production environment.
-Perform system administration tasks.
-Adhere to the highest degree of professional standards and strict confidentiality in matters that require discretion.
-Attend professional development and training sessions on a regular basis.
-Perform other job-related duties as necessary. Experience: QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
-Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related field.
-3 years of demonstrated experience in a user support role.
-Experience with document management systems, record management systems, document imaging and other ECM technologies a plus.
-Experience in the professional services or accounting industry a plus.
-Ability to work with minimal supervision.
-Strong troubleshooting skills.
-Experience performing application testing.
-Ability to integrate procedural steps and processes with technical requirements and system functions to ensure successful delivery of work.
-Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communications skills.
-Strong training and presentation skills in individual and group settings.
-Proven ability to effectively multitask with strong attention to detail.
-Team oriented, flexible and able to work in a changing work environment
-Advanced knowledge of MS Word.
-Experience with MS Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, SQL Server and internet technologies.
-Reports to the ECM Manager who is a member of the Applications Development and Reporting division in the ECM department.
