Provide support for the management of ongoing programs as well as development and execution of new marketing strategies by product category, customer segment, and/or channel. Combine financial and statistical analytic rigor with business acumen to deliver business results. Help structure analysis to identify high-value business opportunities, build out project plans to address these opportunities, and push programs through to completion. Be an internal expert on data sources, methodologies, and data interpretation constraints present in the CL environment. Work closely with other parts of the CL business (e.g. credit risk, sales, finance, customer service, and collections), and outside partners to develop and execute plans in a rapid and effective manner. Focus on Campaign strategy, product line management, customer segment management, and channel management.



Monitor performance of existing programs and campaigns to optimize performance. Support management in the identification, sizing, and description of new customer marketing opportunities. Proactively recommend improvement opportunities. Work with your manager to build hypotheses for improvement. Take a central role in translating hypotheses and business objectives into test design and data requirements. Drive collection of data and understand different data sources and testing methodologies (and the pros/cons of each). Develop a high degree of expertise in pulling data from our systems and using statistical/financial methods to interpret the data or interpret results of analyses done by other groups. Develop the ability to conduct an internal interview campaign with minimal supervision (e.g., branch interviews) and synthesize results and implications for the business problem. Perform analyses/qualitative synthesis to determine outcome of testing, effectively triangulate from multiple data points and sources and make recommendations to management. Once new opportunities have been identified, sized, and prioritized, work on cross-functional teams to drive discreet work teams through to completion. Take ownership of specific deliverables, meet timelines, and deliver on your portion of the project. Develop and leverage relationships across functions and work effectively with key subject matter experts from other groups.



Adhere strictly to compliance and operational risk controls in accordance with Company and regulatory standards, policies and practices; report control weaknesses, compliance breaches, and operational loss events. Support the Company’s Diversity programs. Complete other related duties as assigned. Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Computer Science, Statistics, or related equivalent experience
  • Minimum 2-5 years in a campaign analyst role
  • Financial services industry experience strongly preferred
  • Strong marketing campaign extensive experience with e-mail marketing campaign tools (Kana preferred), website measurement, and analysis with demonstrated success in internet site campaign performance measurement and reporting including setting and surpassing quantitative and qualitative business objectives
  • Strong hands-on execution and analysis skills with a good working and theoretical knowledge of statistics (significance testing, response modeling, etc.)
  • Proficient with databases, query tools, standard spreadsheets, and programming languages such as SAS, Access, PowerPoint, Excel, TOAD, SPSS, and/or SQL and PL/SQL with advanced database experience preferred
  • Experience with one or more campaign enterprise analysis and reporting tools such as SAS (Preferred), Cognos (Powerplay, Query Studio and Report Studio), Oracle Discoverer, or Hyperion Essbase
  • Experience and use of web campaign measurements tools (WebTrends, Omniture, Coremetrics) preferred
  • Superior verbal and written communication, presentation, and consulting skills and the ability to articulate views crisply and convincingly
