The Service Center Technician will be responsible for imaging PC's and Laptops. Maintain an inventory of several PC and Printer Hardware parts as well software accessories. Install standard software and associated updates on desktops and laptops. Install desktops in different locations and configure equipment. Resolve hardware, software, and possible application problems for supported systems and applications. The technician should be proficient in XP operating system. Good written and oral communication skills. The technician must be able to work in team environment with minimal supervision and needs to be self-motivated and organized. Specific skill sets include: Solid understanding of desktop PC's and IBM laptops, network printers and Blackberry's. Knowledge with LANDesk, Remedy and MS Products (Project, Excel), is a plus. Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds, as the job will require boxing and unpacking of shipments. Candidate should have 1-2 years experience; an A+ certification would be an added plus.
