Our GLOBAL Client curretly seeks (2) Enterprise Architect's - with SOA experience for "CONTRACT" - "CONTRACT-TO-HIRE" or "PERM/HIRE" opportunity.

Job Description:

This is Solutions Architecture - taking existing standards and applying them to programs to build the overall architecture. You will be working on $10mill + projects with a team of 100-200 people.

One Architect would be assigned to a new strategic project to implement the client's Underwriting/Policy Administration of their Middle-Market accounts into the lient's new underwriting platform.

The second Architect would be assigned to the second phase of a strategic project in finance (PeopleSoft experience or other accounting software, Financial background would be a big plus for this position.)

Skills A:
-10-20 ys; strong comfort in all the architecture layers;
-SOA (Business Process, Process Modeling , IBM Process Server etc.), Web
services shop, relational DBs;
-Big systems, large scale implementations exp., exp with package system
implementation and interoperability;
-High complexity of integration exp.; mainframe, MQ integration exp.;
Architecting and integrating systems in multi-user, multi-platform, multi-
tasking operating system environments (e.g., Unix, Linux, Windows)
-J2EE and Websphere A MUST! In-depth knowledge of any other application servers
would be a transferable knowledge. Java, J2EE, IBM WebSphere, XML, HTML, SSL,
application security
-EXCELLENT verbal skills are A MUST! Candidates need to feel comfortable in front of people/sr leadership presenting ideas, defending their position or their architecture. Very strong negotiation /mentoring/influencing skills to direct people and facilitate the solution design process vs. telling everybody what to do and how. Strong solution design skills. Ability to work collaboratively and effectively with IT leadership teams
-There will be no coding, but coding backgd is required - they will be called to debug.
