Length: This is an ongoing contract for approximately 12 months

Dress code: You will be working in a bank
Hours of work: The hours vary day to day. It can be from 12pm (noon) until 8pm (at times it has been midnight or 2am) and other days 8am until 4pm. So far they have only worked weekdays. I assume the more people they can have on the project the more stable the hours will be. The 12pm start days are deployment days and the techs have to stay until all issues after deployment are resolved.

- Position Title: Computer Technician - Level II

Position Overview:
The Candidate will perform all Level I support requirements plus performing problem resolution activities on both desktop and networking issues. Completes all assigned service calls with professionalism and technical expertise. Ensures that quality and service level goals are achieved in a timely manner. Completes all administrative duties correctly and promptly.

Duties and Responsibilities:
. Provides quality customer service and support for designated equipment.
. Escalates problems to appropriate next level of support when necessary.
. Monitors assigned service calls to ensure timely completion.
. Ensures all time reporting, expense reporting, and other required reports are accurate and submitted on time.
. Meets or exceeds various service levels as established by assignment (calls per day, ETA's, on-time response, administrative call closure, customer satisfaction.)
. Responsible for ensuring on-going maintenance and development of positive customer relationships with all business partners and customers.

Required Skills and Abilities:
. As a Level II Engineer/Technician you will be required to have exceptional skills in the following areas:
. Minimum of two (2) year direct PC and Laptop Hardware Service experience. Dell Certifications a Plus.
. In possession of Associate's Degree in Electronics, formal PC hardware service courses, or similar military related training.
. CompTIA A+ Certification (Hardware & Software)
. Proficiency in desktop support including administration of Windows 9x, 2000 and XP
. Proficiency in server support including administration of Windows NT, 2000 and 2003
. Proficiency in Anti-spyware and Anti-virus software
. Proficiency in TCP/IP networking, DNS, DHCP, VPN, RDP, and Active Directory administration.
. Proficiency in aspects of wireless networking, WEP, WPA as well as deployment and signal testing practices.
. Network / Telco cabling and termination. Basic voice and data cabling installation in commercial settings.
. Evaluation and installation of primary and peripheral computer and networking hardware, including, but not limited to: monitors, keyboards, mice, printers, fax machines, scanners, routers, wireless routers, switches, firewalls, racks, cabinets, 66 block patch voice termination panels, multi-port data termination panels.
. Good written and oral communications skills with clients and management. Good people skills.
. Ability to troubleshoot issues with systems and networks using good deductive reasoning skills.
. Good punctuality is important. Ability to work with deadlines and complete tasks on-time.
. Reliable transportation
