Not for Profit client is looking for an EXPERIENCED WEB DATA ANALYST to join their online team. This position is responsible for creating and analyzing metrics detailing Web site usage and visitor behavior, and highlighting trends to help the web strategy team understand and enhance Web site experience. Essential job Functions are...
• Run monthly Web Trends reports for dozens of Association Web sites and Web programs.
• Provide insights from Web data and recommend ways to improve Website conversion, visitor experience and other key performance indicators.
• Define and develop new Web Trends reports as needed.
• Act as first point of contact for Association employees with questions and issues pertaining to analytics data.
• Interact with IT department and external consultants as needed to resolve reporting issues and/or set up new reports.
• Design concise and easy-to-understand reports that combine various online and offline metrics.
Experience: BS/BA in communications, math or related field.
2+ years experience working with Web Trends. Experience with other Web analytic systems such as Google a plus.
Strong written and verbal communications skills, including the ability to create diagrammed and graphed information highlighting key data using Excel or other tools.
Logical and analytical thinker, with a high degree of pro-activeness in analyzing user behavior patterns using available data.
Must be highly organized.
Knowledge of analytics from content management systems such as Convio, Kintera or RedDot a plus.
Database experience a plus.
