Manages employees and multi-functional teams including mid-level managers who develop and deploy policies, processes and tools that enable the preparation of proposals, agreements and completed cost resource estimates and pricing. Interfaces with Government policy experts, Government Agencies and Industry Associations. Monitor and manage Boeing response to regulatory and legislative policy initiatives. Manages the policy and procedural issues that relate to the business unit interface (BCA, IDS, etc) through the Contract Acquisition Policy Team. Develop, monitor, and manage systems and tools to insure regulatory and statutory compliance such as: Non-Sales Agreement (NSA) Database; Truth in Negotiation Act (TINA) Bulletin Board; Estimating System; and the Clause Assessment Guide (CLAG) which sets the customary business framework when doing business with the federal government. Leads teams in the development of process improvements. Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports. Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes. Manages, develops and motivates employees and mid-level managers.
