Our client is Downtown Chicago, is currently looking for a Sharepoint Admin. The responsibilities of the Sharepoint Admin includes working with IT organization and user departments to develop efficient and effective Sharepoint solutions to meet business requirements; assisting clients with requirements for their SharePoint and Office System based solutions; designing information architecture appropriate to each particular client; supporting all components of the Microsoft Sharepoint environment <br/><br/>All applicants applying for U.S. job openings must be authorized to work in the United States. Experience: The ideal SharePoint Admin must have minimum 4 years of proven experience the design, planning and implementation in SharePoint Portal and SharePoint Services 2007 and earlier versions and related 3rd party applications; experience with the SharePoint and CMS site administration; Strong knowledge of Windows architecture including Windows 2003 server design and support as it relates to SharePoint; Ability to design, code and unit test applications based on Microsoft technologies, especially .NET, Web Services and SQL; Must have very strong communication and customer interaction skills.
