Job Summary

Provides operations and other analysis, and plans, monitors and completes complex operations projects ensuring adherence to departmental and corporate strategic direction.


Essential Duties & Responsibilities

1. Analyzes operations and or other data, and works with management to set and modify operations goals, budget, compliance, staffing allocation and work distribution.
2. Develops project plans and schedules using defined procedures, negotiates scope and deliverables with operational procedures and concepts.
3. Uses work management tools to facilitate efficient processes and to assess operational performance and quality of staff and service delivery.
4. May represent the functional area in meetings with management and other business units.
5. Manages expenses for specific projects and ensures budget goals and expenses are met.
6. Monitors trends and participates in strategic planning as well as team and quality performance reviews.
7. Provides assistance and montoring to junior level operations analysis staff.
8. Works with other departments and may provide technical guidance to others within the department.

May perform additional duties as assigned.

1. Strong industry and company knowledge as well as strong knowledge of the functions performed by the department and team.
2. Excellent organizational skills including ability to prioritize, coordinate and manage multiple projects and project teams.
3. Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
4. Strong client and team interpersonal and leadership skills with the ability to effectively foster and maintain collaborative relationships with internal and external business partners.
5. Good presentation, verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical and business issues in a clear, concise and effective manner.
6. Ability to exercise professional judgement and assume responsibility for decisions which have an impact on people, costs and quality of service.
7. Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
8. Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office suite and the ability to learn and utilize other business related software systems.

Education & Experience

1. Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience and completion of applicable professional designations.
2. Minimum five years relevant professional experience.
