A nationwide nonprofit association in downtown Chicago is actively seeking a Web Content Manager to join its team! This position is responsible for maintenance and management of the organization's online communications, e-marketing components, and improvement suggestions for the website. Functions of the job include but are not limited to the following:
Planning participation to guarantee website goals are accomplished.
Identification of new and innovative website material and active engagement of coworkers for feedback and evaluation.
Liaise with departmental team members to develop and design website material.
Cooperate with staff members to gain analysis of website and e-marketing tools' efficacy.
Maintain website with material gained from meetings, staff, and additional suggestions. Attend necessary meetings to remain up-to-date on organization projects.
Responsible for editorial content and production of e-marketing materials and organization news.
Promotion of organization through the utilization of special e-tools that increase organization awareness.

Qualifications are as follows:

Bachelor's Degree in English, Journalism, or a related field. Master's Degree a plus.
Three or more years of writing/editing experience.
Three or more years managing web content.
Superior communication skills, both written and verbal.
Knowledge of health care field strongly desired.
Experience in an association/nonprofit setting strongly desired.
Ability to manage workload in a deadline-driven, fast-paced environment.
Technical proficiency in Microsoft Word Suite.
Strong and comprehensive knowledge in website design (templating, Blue boarding, backend infrastructure and analysis, HTML, CSS, Dreamweaver, Flash, Java, Java script, XML, and Adobe CS3).
Project management capacities.
Personal drive to continue professional development and learning. Desire to remain up-to-date with regard to website design and functionality innovations.
