Duties:Works with local and remote stakeholders to deliver meaningful solutions to the business Sets team objectives, mentors team members, and reviews their work Ensures resolution of hardware and software problems in a timely and accurate fashion Administers and participates in 24x7 on call process and rotation management as escalation point from operations teams Performs hands-on application, operating system, and network support Manages data center and IT infrastructure in the London office and collocation facilities Practices ongoing two way communication with the Chicago development, database, networking and Windows teams on both new software releases and fixes to development, test and production issues Works with Chicago and New York offices to standardise IT operations Conducts weekly team meetings Manages completion of short term tasks and projects in conjunction with project management resources Requirements:Previous experience managing an IT infrastructure/technical team in a trading environment 5 years experience in the trading industry 3 years hands-on experience supporting trading platforms such as ORC, TT and Actant. 5 years experience supporting Windows desktop and server technologies 5 years experience supporting Unix/Linux systems 5 years experience working with enterprise database technologies 2 years experience working with networking technologies Exceptional knowledge of service and application delivery and implementation, as well as successful service level agreement accomplishments Hands-on experience troubleshooting hardware and software issues Knowledge of Scripting Excellent oral and written communication skills Excellent documentation and knowledge management skills To Apply to this job go to http://www.GadBall.com or click here
