Under supervision, provides guidance, assistance, coordination, follow-up on customer issues, and Real Time desktop support pertaining to all systems applications, hardware and software. ?Provides 2nd level desktop support including problem resolution for software applications, PC hardware and full range of peripheral related problems. ?Records and logs all details related to support calls dispatched by call tracking system. ?Support and troubleshoot end-user programs. ?Performs system software, application and hardware upgrades. ?Configures and performs installation of new PC?s. ?Participates in the evaluation of 3rd party software products. ?Participates in pre-beta testing of new applications. ?Provides timely updates and reports to management on all project work and unique assignments. ?Provides eyes and hands for network and server admin staff when needed for the support of onsite network and server issues. ?Assists in the monitoring and support escalation for facilites systems (ie, HVAC, fire alarm, PBX) POSITION REQUIREMENTS: -Expertise supporting PC and Laptops running XP -Hands-on expertise supporting/setting up Blackberry -Hands-on expertise support MS Office and Outlook -Hands-on knowledge using remote access tools, Remote Desktop, VPN, wifi, aircards, -Excellent customer service and verbal communication skills; -Excellent analytical and trouble-shooting skills -Abiliity and confidence to work alone -Ability to provide and follow verbal instructions/directions over the phone To Apply to this job go to http://www.GadBall.com or click here
