Description:
This position oversees the development, testing and implementation of Our client?s Engineering and Network Operations database. The Manager position is responsible for leading the engineering, development, and support for all Our client?s(r) network asset tools. The Manager is also responsible for development and maintenance of network element screens to capture all aspects of USCC assets (for example, building type, tower type, technology, battery type, EPA information, etc...), asset identification and tracking management, circuit names and connectivity, asset transfer and disposal management, return and repair management, and purchase request / receipt. This position will ensure all aspects of inventory tracking and management is precisely documented using Network Engineering's Gamma NetOne platform and in compliance with established Sarbanes Oxley controls.

Responsibilities
- Lead a team of developers of the Our client?s(r) asset tool system
- Oversee the developers who provide system integration efforts and training of associates
- Maintain and lead all SOX compliance efforts as it relates to the asset tracking tool.

- Develop the methodology for documenting critical network operations inventory using the Asset tool database

- Develop a lab environment to ensure that the architectures and system solutions are fully tested and documented.

- Partner with regional operations, switch and network managers and the NOC to ensure the Gamma database is accurate

- Develop a ticketing system in asset tool to ensure field associates to receive automated work orders

- Create linking between asset tool and the NOC Fault Management System, to ensure circuit and facility information can be retrieved and auto-populated in NOC Remedy tickets

- Monitor and manage the barcode process and procedures for all Network Operations associates

- Develop audit techniques to ensure information in the asset tool database is accurate
- Assist with setting the schedule and priorities for audit team pertaining to scanning audits
- Analyze and report on results of scanning audits
- Manage and administer staff
- Ensure the Standards and Gamma webpage are up to date and accurate
- Ensure all documentation regarding Gamma is up to date and accurate
- Hold feedback meetings with all Field Operations and Engineering teams at least monthly
- Update executive staff on accomplishments / jeopardies
- Write performance reviews on all key personnel.
- Oversee the hiring of key engineering resources.
- Develop and manage the capital and Opex budgets for the Security and System Support team.

Qualifications
- Bachelor degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or related discipline is required. Master degree is preferred.
- Must have a minimum of 6 years experience in an application development or operations position.
- Candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of previous managerial experience.
- Strong system technical experience in Oracle PLSQL, MYSQ-c, Visual Basic, HTML, XML, JavaScript, CGI, UNIX, LINUS, Windows
. Exeeirnce with TCP/IP Network Protocols, Operations Support Systems (OSS) Solutions; IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL),
- Prior experience in project management with the ability to break down complex problems into manageable tasks required
- Ability to build a cross-functional team is required
- Business knowledge of wireless industry a plus
