Education Required

Travel Requirements:
Extensive travel within and outside the United States is often required; incoming professionals should expect at least 50% travel. Many GSC engagements occur with little advance notice and are of indeterminate duration, requiring significant flexibility on behalf of our consultants.

Other Key Requirements:
* 3-5 years of experience providing technology consulting services focusing on database development, application development, and/or computer forensics in a law enforcement or Big 4 environment.
*5+ years of professional working experience.
* Experience with any of the following products / tools is beneficial: Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, Visual Basic, Microsoft Access, SQL, Encase, Microsoft Exchange or Lotus Notes/Domino.

The PeopleSoft Allocation Tuner/Lead Designer will be responsible for organizing and leading the performance enhancement effort associated with the implementation of Allocations for a PeopleSoft Financials 9.0 implementation for a client that produces a large quantity of journal entries. This includes the definition of the performance tuning methodology for the project, organization and scheduling of a multi-phased approach for performance testing, gathering and analysis of results from the testing efforts, recommendation of modifications to enhance performance, and presentation of recommendations to project and upper company management. Due to the high visibility of this project and the concern for acceptable performance, this person must be able to interact and communicate in a clear, concise, effective, and highly professional manner. This role also requires that the candidate be technically savvy in the areas of PeopleCode development and tuning, Application Engine development and tuning, SQL development and tuning, and Oracle Database Administration, as it is expected that he/she will be assisting in the implementation of his/her recommendations for modifications to enhance performance.
