CompTia A+ Certification (Software & Hardware) ? Microsoft Office User Specialist or Expert ? Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook (MOS, MOE) ? Microsoft Certified Professional ? Windows 2000 or XP (MCP) ? Microsoft Certified Desk Top Support Technician (MCDST) ? STIKnowledge or Help Desk Institute Certified Help Desk Professional Experience: Technical Skills ? Demonstrates effectiveness providing help desk and desktop support. Able to rapidly diagnose the root cause of a technical issue and resolve it 90% of the time ? Able to type 30-50 words per minute while talking to end-users over the phone ? Demonstrates excellent documentation habits when working in an incident management system ? Demonstrates subject matter expertise on Microsoft Office Suite and Windows Operating System ? Experience using Incident Management Systems (Remedy, Track-It, Heat, FrontRange) and remote support tools (VNC, SMS Remote Control, Altiris Carbon Copy, Novell Zenworks) ?
