THIS POSITION WILL BE LOCATED IN ASIA.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Wholly responsible for service, support, and management of PC infrastructure, Server infrastructure, AS400 Technical Services,
Data Center Operations, and Back-up and Recovery systems.
* Plans, directs and administers all aspects of the above.
* Execute Infrastructure vision strategy.
* Measure and analyze performance, availability, and failure trend data to identify and implement improvement projects.
* Ensure the creation, validation, publication, training and maintenance of best practices.
* Monitor and ensure compliance with standard operating procedures.
* Assures the highest possible level of customer satisfaction, in accordance with the SLAs and the best practices model, by providing timely resolution of end user hardware and software issues.
* Assures the highest possible level of compliance to the Best Practices model through proactive decision making and enlightened forethought.
* Ensures through procedures and documentation that all problems and requests reported to technical support services are properly recorded, dispatched, and resolved in accordance with department procedures.
* Maintains good/informative communication with I.T. upper management as well as with the User community.
* Provides leadership and technical support to teams.
* Ensures reliability of infrastructure requirements of Data Center/Server farms necessary to support and grow the current and planned operational environment.
* Measure and analyze performance, availability, and failure trend data to identify and implement improvement projects.
* Lead managers and professionals to document operating procedures for the Data
* Center operations including Job Scheduling, Tape Mounts, Capacity Planning,Contingency planning, Back-up and Recovery, and offsite Media Storage.
* Ensures support of timely resolution of trouble calls from the help desk where the core issue relates to Data Center operations.
* Maintains scheduling and staffing to ensure continuous (24 hrs x 7 days) coverage of all Infrastructure related areas.
* Manages IT organization's relationship with Data Center systems service providers.
* Ensures currency of maintenance and warranty contracts related to Data Center systems.
* Assist with creating data center disaster recovery plans and manage execution in the event of a disaster situation.
* Other duties as needed and/or directed by the Global Infrastructure Manager or VP of International Operations.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
*5 of more years management experience with at least 3 of managing infrastructure, to include extensive experience with at least one of the areas of knowledge described herein, and at least a working understanding of the other areas described herein.
* Excellent oral and written communication.

REQUIRED EDUCAITON:
BS in Information Systems or related field; or, equivalent work experience
