As an Oracle Developer/Programmer, youll:

Implement business requirements for new or existing systems utilizing a defined methodology and process.
Systems analysis and design of new systems, enhancements, fixes to the current production system, devising computer programs, screens, systems, and procedures to meet business needs.
Perform the detailed design of application and technical architecture components.
Create functional or technical specifications documents, solution reviews as required.
Design, code, debug, test, and install programs and procedures working in conjunction with the IT operations staff, dba, outside programmers and users to ensure satisfactory results. This includes user training if required.
Work with other programmers, designers, and architects to make sure that the configuration and custom components meet application requirements and performance goals.
Act as a team player on projects and be a primary resource for on-going production support issues.
Ability to learn and understand the concepts of financial applications (AR, AP, GL, OM, PO, INV, Telesales).
Assignments are broad in nature, usually requiring originality and ingenuity.
Assists others in areas of personal technical expertise and has appreciable latitude for action or decision.


Experience: Requirements:

4 year degree in IT, Business, or related fields preferred.
Experience with Oracle 11i applications and developer tools is Required
Excellent skills in Oracle Reports, Oracle Forms, PLSQL, SQL Plus, Toad/SQL Navigator, Oracle APIs
Unix, Java. Discoverer knowledge and/or experience is a plus
Works with a minimum level of supervision, conferring with superior on unusual matters
Possesses and can apply a broad knowledge of principles, practices, procedures, and functional and technical skill to the completion of moderately difficult to difficult assignments.
Capability in understanding and use of a system development methodology.
Follows through on tasks and completes work within established schedule.
Considers benefits, costs and possible problems of alternative course of action.
Ability to work in a team environment in a support role.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
