Position #1 Senior Network Voice Engineer in Chicago, IL Responsibilities: Performs client consultation: Plans, designs, implements and supports the voice infrastructure. Develops and implements the technical architecture and physical design of the network. Analyzes the existing voice and data networks and recommends solutions. Sets up, configures and tests Cisco Call Manager. Provides technology support by installing servers, routers, and systems hardware. Trouble-shoots, maintains, upgrades, and provides solutions to complex hardware/software problems. Assists Account Managers during the sales process by educating the customer of new technologies and IP Telephony methodology. Assist with and deliver customer presentations, product demonstrations and statements of understanding documentation. Respond to RFIs/RFPs. Assists in the management of projects through Client's project management methodology. Ensures a stable performance environment for enterprise computer applications. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline; equivalent experience acceptable High end experience in PBX and/or Call Center systems engineering experience Knowledge of voice mail, unified messaging, ACD and IVR systems Minimum five years of related experience in infrastructure/network environments, with some experience in network engineering (hardware and software), network security practices and designing, planning and implementing LANs and WANs using the latest technology CCNP, CCDP or CCIE certification preferred Minimum of one year experience in programming or analytical work Consulting experience preferred Ability to effectively communicate with clients and end users Experience with router configuration Willingness to travel Ability to work weekends and/or off hours as necessary to meet clients' needs. Position #2 VOIP Engineer in Irving, TX Qualified individual with 9 + years of networking experience and 4+ years experience managing a multi-national Cisco VoIP and Cisco Unity system and has experience with large networks. Experience with trouble-ticket tracking systems and managing to high Service Level Agreements in a multi-tiered support infrastructure. Must be a team player, with excellent written and verbal communications skills. Must have experience in the development of best practices and support documentation. Must have superior organizational skills, attention to detail, highly tuned problem solving and analytical skills, and excellent customer service skills. PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES: This individual will play a key role in designing a VoIP solution for CLIENT. Other responsibilities will include level 3 support for the VoIP and the LANs/WANs for the CLIENT. Develop documentation for levels 1 and 2 support and assist in training levels 1 and 2 support personnel.
