As a J2EE Developer, you will develop applications and website solutions using Java, XML, HTTP, SOAP, AJAX, Struts 2.0, Spring, Hibernate and other web technologies. You will drive innovation and develop new ideas to help us improve our customer experience, and lead and mentor other developers in coding complex technical solutions.

• Design and develop J2EE applications with minimal supervision
• Work with other team members to coordinate and complete project tasks
• Participate in technical reviews throughout the course of development projects
• Perform unit and system testing of application code, and execute implementation activities
• Analyze and identify technical areas of improvement within existing web applications
• Participate in technology forums and industry user groups
• Work in an agile environment with some extreme programming (XP) practices, including pair programming (when necessary), test-driven development, continuous integration, small release cycles, and collective code ownership
• Help research and recommend open-source and other technology frameworks that can drive innovation and differentiation of our web sites

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline
• 5+ years experience in developing web applications using Java, J2EE, and XML
• Experience with Java frameworks, including Spring, Struts 2.0, Hibernate and SiteMesh
• Experience in B2C, EJB, web 2.0 technologies, JBoss, MySQL, and Alfresco
• Knowledge of issues in web services and software architecture and design

• Leader or contributor in open-source Java software
