SUMMARY:
The product manager will manage the development, deployment and support of one or more catastrophe risk management products for internal and external use. The Product manager has domain expertise in catastrophe modeling and insurance risk management to understand and translate user needs into innovative ideas for enhancing existing products/tools and to develop concepts for new products. This is an excellent opportunity to be involved in cutting edge product development that will change how we process, model and deliver catastrophe management information to our clients. The Product manager is not required to write computer code or manage systems infrastructure. Position title will be commensurate with catastrophe modeling and management experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Create requirements and product release schedules for new products and enhancements to existing products.
-Interface with software development, analystics and actuarial groups during planning and execution phases to ensure project requirements are being met on schedule.
-Create and manage deployment procedures for optimal roll-out of new products to clients and internal users globally.
-Give product demonstrations, conduct training sessions and manage support requests from users.

QUALIFICATIONS:
-Bachelor's degree in engineering/science/finance/applied math.
-At least 2 years of experience with commercial catastrophe models such as RiskLink, Clasic/2 and Wce would be a big plus.
-Knowledge of MS-Access, SQL or a programming language.
-Excellent communication skills and willingness to travel moderately.
-Must be motivated to work on new and challenging projects.
-Ability to work in a deadline driven, fast paced environment.
