Ajilon Consulting seeks a WAN Engineer for our direct client in Chicago. PLEASE NOTE: this position has a start date of January 5, 2009 and goes through January 2010. The requirements are below.

. At least 5 years experience with Cisco Switch / Router design, configuration, installation and administration
. TCP/IP, Routing Protocols (IGRP, EIGRP and OSPF)
. Proven expertise in supporting, troubleshooting hardware, software and networking issues.
. Exceptional follow-through and detail oriented
. Outstanding communication skills; interfaces effectively with upper management, vendors, staff, peers, users, and customers.
. Strong technical background with a solid history of delivering outstanding customer service. Genuine commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.
. Install, configure, and maintain Cisco 3700, 3500, 4000, and 6500 routers and switches
. Software - CiscoWorks 2000, Microsoft Office System (including Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Access, and Microsoft Outlook), Visio
. Cisco Certifications - CCNA
