Sr. Meditech Analyst- Pharmacy GENERAL SUMMARY Provide expert guidance for the analysis design and implementation of MEDITECH PHA modules in Magic Review customer requirements; perform analysis, design and documentation of current state and future state workflows Provide expert guidance and assistance in the design and development of system parameters and dictionaries Development, or system enhancements and correction testing. coordinates the evaluation, design, testing, implementation of Meditech application modules supports integrated, enterprise wide MEDITECH Information System including parameters and all dictionaries. serves as an expert resource to management in Meditech PHA planning and implementation to meet organizational needs Leads info rmation systems installation and upgrade projects, including development of the detailed project plans Implements systems within the agreed upon time frames. Designs and conducts educational programs relative to info rmation management and systems. Troubleshoots issues identified by end users Supports interfaces between other party vendors PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Demonstrates commitment to the quality philosophy and values of the organization by maintaining established policies and procedures; organizational objectives; continuous quality improvement; quality assessment and safety standards. 2. Works cooperatively with the departmental management to insure optimal usage of the Meditech application modules. 3. Demonstrates excellent customer service skills in all interpersonal relations and promotes good relations within the hospital. 4. Evaluates user needs and requests for info rmation systems relative to current systems and available technologies and applications, establishes resources required for meeting identified needs 5. Evaluates work flow and recommends re-engineering of processes around utilization of PHA to maximize departmental and organizational efficiency and effectiveness. 6. Develops the high-level and detailed project plan, project scope assumptions, project implementation and milestone dates for projects, system upgrades, etc. 7. Conducts detailed initial needs analysis for PHA, including integration with other systems, security, training and hardware and software requirements. 8. Evaluates problem situations in-depth, arrives at independent conclusions and coordinates problem resolution for issues related to info rmation systems use and implementation within the user department 9. Analyzes testing needed to assure the functionality and integrity of system enhancements. Works with department super user to develop testing scenarios, tests or oversees testing of application functions. Evaluates testing results and takes corrective action as necessary. Maintains an expert knowledge level of regulatory requirements regarding pharmacy and Meditech s PHA module. Assures compliance with regulatory and professional standards in area of responsibility, including: staff training, data base design and maintenance, data integration and transmission and security and confidentiality Experience Requirements Five years active and progressive experience with the MEDITECH HCIS including system installations/upgrades, expert level analysis and support of Meditech Pharmacy moduleCompany InfoCDPI/TechAlliance is a Chicago based firm, providing Professional Services specializing in Information Technology.
