The BI Analyst develops & maintains a close working relationship with business users in order to define requirements & design, build & maintain reports. Major Duties and Responsibilities: Responsible for business reporting needs from Oracle eBusiness Suite 11.5.10 & other business systems. Works with users to define & document reporting requirements Designs, develops, tests and supports reporting solution & individual reports Verifies information integrity Works with business users to design & develop BI dashboards, scorecards, charts/graphs, drill-downs, & dynamic reports as required by the business. Provides education & training to business users. Helps business users become proficient with reporting tools to meet many of their own reporting needs. Works independently & with Oracle team on new module implementations & ongoing support. Job Requirements: 5+ years Exp. building Business Intelligence solutions for Oracle eBusiness using tools such as Oracle Discoverer, OBI, Noetix, or Datawarehouse tools. Experience analysing requirements for ETL processes & reporting tools. Knowledge of data warehousing concepts & software engineering principles. Experience building Business Intelligence solutions for manufacturing, finance, & supply chain business functions in a manufacturing company. RDBMS experience, ie Oracle 9i and 10g Must be able to write & maintain PL/SQL code Must have DB troubleshooting & problem resolution experience with relational database environments ETL tool experience Familiarity with web & portal development environments Strong verbal and written communications skills Experience with Database Administration tools, ie DB Artisan, TOAD Bachelor's degree in a related business or technical field.
