POSITION SUMMARY: Aon Warranty Group is currently embarking on the exciting process of building a new enterprise-wide Data Management team. As part of that process, we have an excellent career opportunity available for a Senior Business Objects Developer/Architect in this new team.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
1. Hands-on experience with Business Objects Enterprise XI (and previous versions)
2. Design, develop, support Business Objects Universes, WebIntelligence Reports and Crystal Reports within BOE
3. Support of operational (OLTP) and analytical (OLAP, Data Warehouse) environments
4. Strong knowledge of SQL, stored procedures and views
5. Experience in complex environments with 2000 users or larger preferred
6. BOE on AIX, DB2 on AIX and DB2 on AS/400 experience preferred
7. Insurance or financial services experience a plus
8. 2+ years hands on experience with Business Objects and Crystal reports involving at least two different projects
9. 3+ years hands on experience in Business Intelligence and reports development regardless of tools or approach
10. 5+ years experience in a technical role in business intelligence, enterprise reporting, data warehousing and/or data management environments

RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Implement Business Objects as AWG's enterprise-wide standard analysis, querying and reporting tool
2. Develop reporting architecture solution for external client facing system
3. Assist in design, development, testing, deployment and support of all analytical, querying and reporting solutions
4. Key contributor to enterprise-wide database architecture decisions
5. Stay current with new Business Intelligence, Reporting, Data Warehousing technology and development techniques
6. Investigate feasibility, costs, time and compatibility of new hardware and software systems in support of Data Management initiatives

REQUIRED EDUCATION: Bachelors in Computer Science, Engineering or related field, or equivalent work experience
