1. The effective operation and improvement of our ?core? business systems including Daly Infor A+, E-payments, and CorVu. This includes: executing system routines and maintenance, developing and effectively using system monitoring tools and proposing system upgrades and changes. 2. The effective use of CorVu in the organization including: conducting Corvu training, designing and providing routine reports and files, reliably executing the scheduler, formatting the library for ease of use, understanding the full capabilities of CorVu, and gradually applying new functions. 3. Effectively bringing professionally sound hardware and software expertise (personally and through consultants) and change methods to systems problems/projects insuring smooth implementation. Responsible for developing and leading Core system?s implementation plans 4. Managing systems expenses including: maintaining the systems? expense and investment forecast with input from department managers, tracking systems? expenses versus forecast monthly, coding invoices to insure proper entry into the system, thoroughly reviewing large expenses and documenting their accuracy, implementing and managing controls on certain expenses to meet expectations like use of consultants. 5. Managing the Core systems staff including assigning responsibilities, maintaining job descriptions, conducting reviews, dealing with performance problems, documenting a development plans that are consistent with moving some of his responsibilities into the warehouse staff over time, documenting development plans, supporting the activities identified in the development plans, developing a weekend and vacation coverage plan and the skills to support IT 6. Representing and communicating the MIS priorities, plans, and needs in the Operational Leaders Meeting 7. Proactively keep the General Manager informed of issues and progress encountered in your work. 8. Supporting the establishment as the leading company in our industry in supporting the implementation and effective use of Rep Group Brandwise/SSI systems that link to ours 9. Supporting the development of our non-core Network and Warehousing systems applications by proactively managing priorities and resource allocation 10.
