Architect/Tech Lead/Team Coordination** Position Summary: The ideal candidate will provide architecture and technology support to the clients Project focusing on the Technology architecture (Infrastructure/Applications) and strategy. As a part of this role, the candidate will define technology related (Application/Infrastructure) architecture framework, roadmaps, review designs and strategies. Position Description: The ideal candidate will partner with the Infrastructure and Application organizations (both business and technology) on Project1Up to provide architecture and technology support and help them realize delivery objectives. Candidate will define and maintain architectures and architecture-related artifacts such as Directional, Conceptual, Logical, Physical, and Operational diagrams in the areas of Infrastructure sizing, Virtualization, Landscape/environment management/distribution approach across applications, Data Archiving, Business continuity (HA/DR) and security/risk management/mitigation analysis. In addition, the candidate will devise the Infrastructure strategy to strike a balance between the short-term project objectives and the long-term enterprise architecture direction. Currency: Position requires individual to maintain currency in the latest Technology trends in the industry such as Capacity on demand, data archiving/storage, ETL/EAI/BI approaches for faster data retrieval/replication. Position requires commitment to maintain currency with business initiatives, challenges and drivers to ensure solutions support business goals and objectives. Position will continue to expand enterprise technology architecture and blueprint to ensure technology refresh so environment will not have to be re-engineered every five years as technology advances. Client Management: Position requires a technical insight that provides solutions which support the needs of the business yet are compliant with the established enterprise architecture. Position requires candidate to keep up with the pace of the change within Project1Up and building and maintaining relationships with a wide array of stakeholders, each with a different operating style. Governance: Position will engage in format Project Management methodology in a reviewer role, working with CTO organization to review and adjust designs prior to stage gate signoffs. Position will instill the value of governance in the project teams and steer major designs and tool decisions for review and approval from the Project1Up Solution Design Review (SDR) forum and/or Enterprise Architecture Peer Review (EAPR) forum Reusability: Deliver best practices and guidelines as it applies to Infrastructure such as cross-referencing, version management and tools usage. Identify Infrastructure patterns, re-usability opportunities, and promote it across the enterprise using the CTO and Enterprise Architecture channels. Leverage Common Services, Data and various GTA engineering teams as well as application teams to deliver the common services. People Management: Contribute to staffing and maintaining the organizational health of a multi-location team within the framework of current client priorities and initiatives. **Minimum Requirements: 10-15 years total work experience leading the design, development and delivery of an enterprise-wide technology architecture and blueprint with a significant Infrastructure/application footprint Implementation experience with SAP preferred. Specialized expertise in managing major cross-discipline technology teams in a Fortune 500 corporation working on large multi-client, multi-location projects. Candidate has a solid understanding of technology and its practical application. Addresses problems from a business perspective through understanding of business drivers. Candidate has worked as an internal or external consultant. Possess excellent interpersonal, communication skills, and the ability to build good working relationships with clients, peers, staff, etc. The position requires the ability to work with diverse groups across locations. Ability to influence others and bring diverse groups to consensus.
