Our client, a leading provider of navigational technology is growing and expanding as they acquire competitors and expand their reach. This expansion necessitates a Customer Marketing Manager responsible for strategic and tactical marketing activities focused on customer renewal programs for both business-to-business and consumer clients of navigational aid data. Product marketing activities center on relationships with automotive dealers and consumers. The focus is on increasing end-consumer adoption of technology updates and upgrades for digital map devices.

Lead a team of three customer marketing specialists in yielding customer growth and repeat business based on advances in map technology and ever-changing maps. A history of working directly with customers (sales), excellent presentation skills and spreadsheet data management are essential. This Customer Marketing Manager spearheads initiatives targeted at increasing the adoption of map updates for online portals and global positioning navigational systems.
Experience: The ideal candidate has an understanding of the automotive industry and a background in technology: software or database marketing, with experience dealing with OEM customers’ requirements. 5+ years in business-to-business product marketing plus frequent consumer-facing history is required. A background in identifying and resolving big picture infrastructural and internal issues (spanning departments from legal to accounting to finance and communications) is desirable. This Customer Marketing Manager spearheads map marketing initiatives globally and brings to the table product management, technology prowess, database or software-related and even a technology sales background. Bachelor's degree required, MBA preferred. Teamwork, teamwork, and then some creative sales abilities also helpful.
