Sr. Level JAVA Developers.

Location: Downtown Chicago - no travel involved

4 month contract with possible extensions



Soft Skills: This is a high pressure, fast paced environment, They like

to think they are cutting edge..they work under very strict deadlines.

This is not a maintenance coding job, this is mostly new development. If

a contractor is looking for a challenging, fast paced environment, this

is it. Person must be a team player and have good to excellent

communication skills.



The Senior Java Developer position requires the melding of analytical

skills, business knowledge and technical proficiency. This position

requires that the developer will be able to perform their duty with

minimal supervision and guidance. In addition to the mechanics of the

position, this person must be able to approach issues with creativity

and the notion that anything is possible.



Requirements:



Technical Proficiency

* 3-7 years of Java/JSP programming and design experience.

* 3-7 years of Oracle (Relational DB) experience, DB2 a plus.

* 3-7 years PL/SQL, PERL, C++, ERWIN development experience.

* 3-7 years HTML, Web-based applications,

* 3-7 years SQL (for relational databases) experience.

* 3-7 years UNIX/NT experience.

* Ability to multitask in a very fast paced environment a must.

* Analytical Proficiency



Knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle concepts.

* Ability to thoroughly document meetings and issue resolutions.

* Ability to accurately develop effort estimates and schedule

projects with current workload.

* Ability to analyze business needs and develop a feasible

technical solution.

* Have a strong sense of follow up to ensure issues and projects

are completed to our customer's complete satisfaction
