Job Title:

Senior Associate, Program Management



Job Summary:

The Senior Associate, Program Management plays a variety of project support and team leadership roles. Program managers at Sapient typically lead sub-tracks of work as part of a larger project and support project managers with day-to-day project leadership activities.



Primary Responsibilities:

  • Lead small and mid-sized tracks/projects. Develops and tracks project plans for individual tracks of work (as part of a larger project plan.)

  • Provides purpose, direction and motivation to team. Ensures key track roles and responsibilities are defined. Manages third-party partner and/or vendor relationships, as necessary

  • Manages client relationships and preparing for client meetings. Plans and executes client workshops. Develops relationships with appropriate client stakeholders. Provides day-to-day contact for client on track related communications



    Experience Guidelines:

  • 3-5 years of industry experience

  • 2-3 years project management experience, preferably in a client-service organization

  • Demonstrated leadership capability, preferably with leadership experience with teams of 3+ people

  • Knowledge of and/or experience in software development and internet industries preferred

  • Ability to effectively work with Global project teams and clients

  • Proficient in Word, Excel, Powerpoint and MS Project; knowledge of Visio

  • Frequent travel may be required

  • General knowledge of business strategy, or creative design, or programming knowledge a plus.



    Education:

    Bachelor's degree required
