Job Responsibilities :

Network Administrators are primarily responsible for the support, maintenance, and integrity of the Radio Disney and ESPN Radio computer network infrastructure. Daily activities include performing administrative duties of the Windows Server operating systems utilizing Active Directory, supporting applications such as MS Outlook e-mail, VPN remote connectivity and various other host applications that reside on Windows servers and desktop PC's. Daily activities will also typically involve resolving end-user technical problems within the Microsoft Windows / Office environment, desktop applications that may be specific to this organization, special projects and the maintenance of inventory. Network Administrators will work with the IT Help Desk staff and WAN team when needed to assist in resolving application & hardware related problems. Although Cisco Router and Switch configuration is not a common task for this position, the Network Administrator should be fluent in LAN / WAN topologies and able to assist when needed.



Network Administrators are provided cell phones and are required to be on-call and able to respond to after-hours callout. Support responsibilities extend beyond the primary location as the Network Administrator will be supporting multiple locations.



All Network Administrators must maintain a high level of customer service and communication skills and practice those skills on a daily basis.



Required Qualifications :

Education:

  • High School Graduate



    Work Experience:

  • 3-5 yrs experience in a client/server support environment.

  • 2+ yrs experience required in Windows server administration



    Technical Skills:

  • MCSE preferred

  • LAN / WAN Experience

  • Desktop Troubleshooting



    Non-technical Skills:

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Excellent organizational skills

  • US Resident or Permanent Resident
