Genesis10 is seeking a Senior Project Manager in Chicago for a 6 month contract position.

Senior Project Managers

Technical project managers to manage pieces of a large data integration project for the LaSalle merger. Must have strong project management experience. PMP preferred, but project experience is key.



This person will not be a change manager but rather a heads down project manager. Need ability to develop work breakdown structure types of project plans (effort based plans). Does not need Six Sigma. Enterprise initiative experience is a must.



Should have strong understanding of technical project management but does not need technical skills, PM skills more important than subject matter expertise. Need ability to manage multiple project managers within the program.



Must have strong facilitation skills with ability to manage remote teams. Must know full life cycle through testing and implementation. Will manage design sessions and make presentations to the team.


Experience: Years of Experience: 5+ years of experience, would prefer most in the Enterprise project space



Tactical Skills Area uses Clarity to manage tasks. Can import project plan from MS Project into Clarity.



Soft Skills: Nose to the grind stone, inspire others, strong communication skills, with ability to keep manager in the loop, must have ability to inspire multiple teams to common goal,



"Nice to Have" Skills: Budget skills, presentation to senior management preferred but not necessary - internal manager can handle, prefer experience managing a broad spectrum of projects, person does not need BAC or financial services - looking for a project management professional



Position Description: Two projects: The first is around the LaSalle transition. Developing the technical interface to obtain data from LaSalle data marts- package data and import into the ECRIS environment- this will be a repeatable monthly process. Will interface with both the LaSalle and Client's business side but will not responsible for business processes.



The second is a large Basal II program which will be going on throughout 2008 to move data and reports into Basal. This is a large initiative that involves many areas.
