Cisco Network Engineer needed to work for our client in Chicago. The Cisco Network Engineer will design, implement, and administer large scale network systems, implement, maintain and trend LAN/WAN infrastructure, and manage the voice and data communications connecting to remote locations. The Network Engineer will also ensure integrity of BCS, monitor components and report/resolve issues, perform periodic preventative maintenance on systems, and document extensively. Experience: The Cisco Network Engineer must possess 3+ years experience in a network design and administration role, in depth knowledge of Cisco products and features, and extensive experience in Cisco switching and routing technologies and configuration. Candidates must possess demonstrated experience with the administration of BGP-4, EIGRP, IGMP, and RIP. Experience with the standards and implementation of CAT3-6, Serial, Data, Voice, Fiber required.
