Senior Web / Application Developer with 4+ years of experience needed to report to the Chief Marketing Officer and provide support and leadership for various web-based needs through guidance, maintenance, and development of web-based sites, services and applications. The Web/Application Developer will create, install, configure, maintain, administer support and troubleshooting for the company web site and will also sustain services, applications and their related network components and environment. The Developer will maintain and create new web application for the company web site by adding to or altering existing content, will be responsible for updating charts and margin information, repairing codes, and manually including or excluding industry seminars. The Web/Application Developer will be responsible for managing web analytics by downloading web server logs weekly, ensuring that they are properly processed and recorded in the proper format on new servers, creating WebStatus reports every month, in addition to managing users and permissions for viewing stats on ClickTracks.

The Senior Web / Application Developer will produce and maintain desktop applications, such as Alexa Web Service Consumer, Hosts Swapper and HTML Decrapper for internal use. The Developer will work independently and with project team members to develop the site concept, interface design and architecture of the web site, work closely with the Compliance Department to ensure web content is in alignment with company policies and procedures, and also work with other IT Project Managers to develop standards and operating procedures for change management, automation of procedures, business continuity, and deployment of new applications.

The Web/Application Developer will solve technical issues directly, or diagnose them and involve technical staff or 3rd parties as appropriate and will write maintainable, documented code for future maintenance and implement a library-style coding procedure for future code additions. In addition, the Developer should be adept at working in a team environment, mentoring junior web developers and interns, and promoting creativity of the web development team and interns. The Web/Application Developer will communicate to management and Associates all routine maintenance intervals including contingency or possible interruption of service and will be required to participate in a minimum of 20 hours per calendar year of technical training, either company sponsored or through personal education and professional development learning.

Experience: The Web/Application Developer should have a Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, Web Development or related field, or equivalent experience. The Developer should have experience working with a mix of web technologies such
as Markup Languages - XHTML, Dynamic HTML and XML; Scripting Languages - JavaScript, VBScript, ASP.NET, PHP, Ajax, Coldfusion, Flash, C#, and SQL; Web Servers - Windows, IIS, and Apache; and Relational Database -SQL Server 2000/2005. Experience with Multimedia including Macromedia, Dreamweaver and/or Coldfusion,
Style Sheets and ASP/JSP is also required. Familiarity with Software Development Lifecycles is desirable. Knowledge of Linux is a plus. The Developer must work well in a team environment and should be able to
effectively express, interact with and communicate technical concepts, ideas, instructions and information to management, peers, and a non-technical audience; able to read and interpret documents such as application manuals, knowledge bases and other technical and procedural materials/manuals geared to all levels and furnished in written, verbal, diagram or schedule form.
