Previous experience in managing a service center with high level of volume of inventory stock is a MUST.

Experience: The Certification Lab Technician will be responsible for imaging desktops and laptops, in both the certification lab and service centers. Install standard software and associated updates on desktops and laptops. Resolve hardware, software, and possible application problems for supported systems and applications. Secondary duties will be to maintain an inventory of desktops, laptops, and printer hardware parts as well software accessories and various other computer / voice hardware. The technician will be tasked with maintaining inventory control and asset disposal, tracking all items entering and leaving the service centers. The technician should be proficient in XP operating system. Good written and oral communication skills. The technician must be able to work in team environment with minimal supervision and needs to be self-motivated and organized. Specific skill sets include: Solid understanding of HP desktops and IBM laptops, HP local and network printers and Blackberry's. Knowledge with LANDesk, Remedy and MS Products (Word, Excel), is a plus. Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds, as the job will require boxing and unpacking of shipments. Candidate should have 1 year of experience.

Has experience in installing, troubleshooting, and repairing desktop equipment. Responsible for installation, repair, maintenance, and setup of desktop equipment. Desktop equipment includes: cabling systems, terminals, personal computers, voice communication equipment, and laser printers.
