Financial Process Architect (1604)4 Months Contract in Chicago, IL 60661Note :- Candidates must be currently working in the Chicago area.Rate :- $55/Hr On W2Description :-The ability to apply the processes and systems that have been developed and implemented for previous Releases, to leverage learnings from the Releases and to implement new solutions based on the new requirements of the P group operations. This role should ensure that all requirements stated are met. If not met, this person should assist with providing satisfactory explanations of why they will be bypassed. The ability to understand, articulate and design financial processes is important, as is the ability to communicate within the Release team, and with the customer groups. 6 - 8 years of experience. Leader/manager within the PBSG CIO Finance Team responsible for facilitating and managing new development, enhancements and systems support and for applications that enable financial business activity. Primarily responsible for the business interaction over a number of Finance applications and facilitating solutions and support with a number of different PBSG Support groups. An expert in the business aspects of the Finance functional area with the skill to provide a vision and strategy for the area but with the ability to go deep into details to allow for the quick analysis of capabilities or to solve problems. An individual with strong and effective interpersonal skills who is able to work with all levels of the business organization. Working with senior leadership, this person would be able to help detail out business ideas or visions and translate them into systems or process capabilities. This individual understands the direction the functional area is moving towards and would be able to determine how to enable that business direction. Responsible for driving the Strat plan for their functional area with the ability to execute against near-term requirements (within 1 year) and a vision towards the next 3 to 5 years. Must have very strong partnering and negotiation skills to facilitate prioritization and effective progress against tasks across the multiple business groups and varied support groups in PBSG. EAM Business Analytics DMO ESD Data Warehouse This person will need to understand the business process and systems flow from End-to-End so that they can recognize the impact a change in one area or step might have on another area. Will need to work with the business team responsible for process and procedures to ensure they are updated properly. Will need to ensure that Controls are maintained and updated accordingly. Will schedule and facilitate periodic update client meetings with senior leadership to communicate status and to discuss needs for the next 3 to 9 months. Develops relationships with client personnel that foster client ties. Communicates effectively with clients to identify needs and evaluate alternative business solutions with project management. Continually seeks opportunities to increase customer satisfaction and deepen client relationships. Manages client expectations effectively. Attends functional conferences for their area to ensure they are up-to-date on the latest trends. Quickly understands the business issues and data challenges of client's organization and industry. Exhibits confidence and an extensive knowledge of emerging industry practices when solving business problems. Strong understanding of the General Ledger processing in SAP and what cost centers have been set up and how they are posted to. Possesses a certain level of technical Understanding including: Possesses understanding in the areas of application programming, database and system design especially in the area of SAP and it's underlying system modules and technologies. Understands Internet, Intranet, Extranet and client/server architectures. Understands how legacy and web-based systems interface with each other. Will need a level of the knowledge in the technical components of the applications to support performance issues. Will need to facilitate release/upgrade implementations especially if down-time is expected. People Manager: Manage a team of Functional Business Analysts for the Finance areas: Manages the Business Analysis and Project Management deliverables of the team including the areas of: Analysis and Solution Definition Technical Recommendation and Testing Project Execution: Project Pursuit, Project Definition, Blueprinting and Deployment Manage the AOP and Budget for the functional area Possesses key leadership qualities which will generate enthusiasm among team members and challenges others to develop as leaders.
