DUTIES: You will be responsible for: (1) Full Systems Life Cycle development in .NET and C#; (2) Interaction with end-users to include gathering requirements and translating them into technical specifications and designs; (3) Performing work estimates required for development initiatives; (4) Testing and debugging of software; (5) Test plan review and design and code review; (6) Mentoring and coaching of less experienced technical staff; (7) Providing leadership on development initiatives on an as needed basis; (8) Design and authoring of documentation for developed products, future versions, and client site implementations; (9) Troubleshooting through resolution of technical issues; (10) Acting as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on developed products to current and future client organizations; (11) Evaluation and selection of new technologies.
Experience: REQUIRED: MUST have a verifiable undergraduate degree.6 years of programming in MICROSOFT ASP.NET. 2 years of STRONG development with C# AND XML AND XSLT AND MS SQL Server.STRONG/CURRENT experience acting as a Senior Programmer where reviews new and old code for errors, gathers requirements from users, transforms into technical specifications, does design, and mentors/coaches less experienced programming staff.MUST have very strong debugging, troubleshooting and problem solving skills.MUST have strong/current documentation experience.MUST have excellent written and verbal communication skills and be very adept at working with a diverse client and customer base.MUST be able to handle difficult situations/time sensitive issues in a professional manner.
