The Client Experience User Interface Developer is responsible for producing interactive prototypes of the online interfaces developed by the TIS Client Experience Team. These prototypes play a crucial role in the improvement of the usability of the site and constituent applications; they demonstrate how the UI meets business requirements, ensure shared understanding of business, usability and technical implications and provide guidance to development teams responsible for developing and testing final code.

The CE User Interface Developer collaborates closely with the User Interface Designers to translate page design schematics into working, coded prototypes that demonstrate the interrelationship of pages and behavior of individual page elements. The Developer works closely with the Content Management Lead to ensure that visual design, style and branding standards are upheld. The CE User Interface Developer also serves as a liaison between the CE team and the IT organizations in vetting technical feasibility of the interface design and resolving issues. Their expertise in front-end technology and interaction best practices ensure the interface is implemented in the most efficient manner and meets the highest standards of usability.
The CE Interface Developer is responsible for creating and delivering any graphical elements (animations, buttons, images, etc) required for the interface design. They are also responsible for working with the Content Management Lead to maintain the site audit screenshot library and for distributing screenshots, page code and graphical elements as needed by the business and technology teams. The CE Interface Developer maintains the CE development environment.
