Position: Training Consultant Meditech Modules RESPONSIBILITIES: Delivers and/or facilitates classroom and one on one training sessions to clinicians and others within a healthcare organization Works with hospital leadership to develop programs to ensure the successful transfer of learning from the classroom back to the job Independently oversees the classroom environment for long-term and complex training situations, managing all aspects of student performance and feedback to management Consult with organizational senior leaders and work groups to develop effective learning strategies for clinicians and others Perform analysis in conjunction with hospital leadership to identify performance gaps, appropriate training interventions, and the performance outcomes required to demonstrate learning transference Use formal instructional design methodology to design and develop performance-based training and educational tools Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs during and at designated intervals after delivery in order to provide feedback from users and continuously improve training, processes and products Develop/review training materials and collaborate with managers/supervisors on training methodology for the delivery and implementation of new/enhanced training processes/modules and competency evaluation tools Develop and coordinate clinical super user group REQUIRED SKILLS: Proficient in various Meditech Modules: RIS, BAR, NUR, LAB, GL, PCM, PHA, OE, etc.Three to five years experience in clinical setting Ability to interact effectively with people at all levels of a healthcare organization Strong computer skills, particularly with Meditech software PREFERRED SKILLS: Three to five years previous training experience Strong clinical/technical knowledge of Meditech Magic or Client Server Basic understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design
