POSITION SUMMARY

The GTU Systems Administrator administers systems for all GTU applications; plans, manages and coordinates Grant Thornton University ( GTU ) system implementations; aggregates information for metrics reporting and analysis; collaborates with Strategic Learning teams on learning innovation; and provides end user training for learning systems. This position is based in Oakbrook Terrace, IL 60181.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
-Manage current systems related to GTU learning environment ( Learning Management System ( LMS ), CLO Dashboard, Knowledge Advisors, Centra, LearnLive, NETg, MicroMash, DDI, Crystal Reports, and other firm wide information technology ( IT ) applications ).
-Oversee system administration including system configurations, user maintenance, other system changes, updates and maintenance, and interfaces between systems.
-Configure LMS settings to support training rollouts ( e.g., audiences, curriculums, reporting ).
-Work with learning service teams and vendors to ensure the proper upload of courseware and eLearning into the LMS.
-Manage relationship between LMS and interfacing systems.
-Provide functional end user support ( e.g., manage GTU mailbox; track, categorize, and answer training questions ) in a timely manner.
-Provide end user and administration training on learning systems as needed.
-Support the development of a long-term GTU training solution strategy, interfacing the LMS to other key systems and deployment and support tools ( e.g., Lawson, Knowledge Advisors, Centra, Content providers ).
-Represent GTU?s long-term LMS strategy discussions on the SumTotal tool and Administrator functions ( including gathering design and functionality requirements ).
-Interface with Strategic Learning Team and IT on technology needs to support learning for the firm.
-Coordinate testing activities ( i.e., UAT ) for new systems functionality.
-Coordinate necessary functions between IT, vendors, and other identified team members to successfully role out new technology and updates.
-Manage relationships with external vendors.
-Create reports and queries using necessary data points ( i.e., evaluations, instructor and participants comments, financials, course information, CPE, etc. ) to streamline processes and provide business information on the firm learning activities.
-Prepare monthly status reports for finance using data from GTU that will be presented to the Senior Leadership Team.
-Support the development of long-term training technology strategy.
-Collaborate with the strategic learning teams ( Design, Learning Services, Leadership, Account Management and Compliance ) to innovate continually the technology used in learning solutions.
-Partner with IT and strategic external technology partners to deliver the ?Grant Thornton Experience? for our people.
-Plan, execute and assess the effectiveness of our delivery of ?The Grant Thornton Experience for our People? in our technology activities.
-Communicate ideas on how to improve experience for our learners and process improvements using technology.
-Scan for ?best practices? and ?new options? in learning technology
-Adhere to the highest degree of professional standards and strict confidentiality in matters that require discretion.
-Attend professional development and training sessions on a regular basis.
-Perform other job-related duties as necessary. Experience: QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
-Bachelor?s degree or equivalent in a related field.
-Strong systems knowledge and or IT related background; learning management systems experience preferred.
-Crystal Reports Experience preferred.
-Strong organizational skills with a process and project management orientation.
