Job Summary

Sr. Associate, Technology provides technical leadership to the project team by taking responsibility for a specific component or track of the project architecture/SDLC. This includes planning, estimation, people management, issue resolution and quality assurance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilizes their deep understanding of OO design
  • Drives mid-level planning exercise with a team of 4-6 engineers.
  • Anticipates issues and risks at the module level and escalates appropriately
  • Translates the client's business requirements into systems design.
  • Writes bug free code. Strives for a deep understanding and expertise with the tools being used. Effectively debugs code. Sets standards for the team.
  • Actively manages scope at the module level, can identify alternatives.
  • Facilitates workshops and client meetings

    Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree required and degree in Computer Science or related field preferred. Minimum 1-3 years in systems integration and development, package implementation, and/or interactive design.
  • Knowledge of multiple technologies including but not limited to J2EE, CGI, HTML, DHTML, XML, JavaScript, Java, Visual Basic, PL/SQL, Oracle Developer 2000 tools, C/C++, Perl, TCL, RDBMS, CORBA, COM/DCOM, Flash, and Shockwave.
  • Proven leadership and managerial skills to ?independently'' manage a track of work, with 3 - 7 people, during multiple phases of the project lifecycle.
