POSITION REPORTS TO: GTS Performics Manager

POSITION SUMMARY: The GTS Performics Intern serves as a member of the GTS Performics client support team and is responsible for coordinating internal and external technical support as it relates to the sale, implementation, and use of the Company's proprietary tracking technology.

HUMAN RELATIONS:
This position will support the Performics' technical and non-technical staff and will interact with clients at all levels including some training and day-to-day support,

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Identify, reproduce, and resolve technical problems as they relate to our technology
  • Perform ongoing tests to verify accuracy of client tracking. Escalate issues to the appropriate resource
  • Monitor daily system processes for successful completion and accuracy of data
  • Execute appropriate scripts to correct system process issues, update client transaction data and troubleshoot errors. Escalate issues to appropriate resource
  • Seek ways to improve current technology and business processes
  • Document and track technical issues and processes
  • Support all implementations of Performics' technology
  • Facilitate communication between the business and technical departments.
  • Generate custom client-requested reporting using SQL queries and Shell scripting

    OTHER JOB DUTIES:

    EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
  • Working towards a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Business Systems, Information Systems Management, or other technical field
  • Basic understanding of HTML and cookie technology.
  • Basic understanding of URL encoding and structures.
  • Basic familiarity with Shell scripting and SQL query skills and relational databases.
  • Basic problem-solving and project participation skills.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
